The time has come...

Hey everyone! Wow, I haven't posted on here in forever! I have been so busy with all of my awesome clients that I forget about my own blog! Anyhow, I wanted to take a quick opportunity to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of my amazing clients I have had over the years! I have been so blessed to work with each and every one of you! But, as the title to this post says, the time has come to move on! I have been running ESG for almost 4 years (2.5 on this blog!!) and I feel like my creative juices are pulling me in a different direction. I can't say enough positive things about the experiences and the people that I get to work with on a daily basis! I have made lifelong friends with some of my clients, one even promised to photograph my wedding as her gift to me!! That alone is priceless! So I am going to leave you (since I'm already in tears) with a huge THANK YOU and I love you!

But I wanted to take a bit to walk you through the new layout so no one is confused. You might also be seeing some new changes to the front of the site too, so don't freak out about that.

--I think this is pretty much self explanatory, but if not, this is the place where you can find info on how I work. It will take you through the process of ordering to work to completion.

Happy Birthday to ESG!

Expressive Style Graphics is having a Birthday!
That's right, we are officially ONE! :)

I can't believe that just one year ago I decided on a whim to try and make a business for myself selling graphics. I have been designing graphics since I was 12 and built my first website when I was 13! I never thought I would be doing it full time!

And YOU made it happen! All of my awesome clients that I have worked with and allowed me to be creative and have fun with their projects. I have made some amazing friends along the way and can not wait to make more!

So what are we doing to celebrate? A NEW DESIGN!!!!!

Holiday Hours

Hey Everyone!
I thought I would take this time to post my hours while on Holiday. I will be out of my Office on Wed. November 26Th-Mon. December 1st for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

I will also be out of the office on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

My hours will be limited to the mornings, late evenings from December 19Th through January 5Th for Christmas and New Years. These are the days my daughter is home from school, and I want to make sure we have a great Holiday together, and that you will get to also spend wonderful times with your families!

If you have a start date in between any of these times, have no fear. I will be working on your orders, when I am on line...my time will just be more structured! :)

A VERY special Blog design

I am so privileged to work with amazing photographers and designers day in and day out. I love my job. And every blog is special. But this blog is so different and so special, I cant even describe it.

My sister's dear friend, Taylor, has a blog named "A little slice of heaven". I started reading Taylor's blog just before she was going to give birth to her son, Nathan.

Nathan was born on June 24Th and went home to be with Jesus just moments later. His little body tried hard to fight against a chromosome abnormality called Trisomy 13. Taylor found out at 16 weeks that Nathan had this abnormality.

Her story is one of a strong woman. She has faith the size of an entire field of mustard seeds!

So when my sister Brittany gave a blog to Taylor as a gift, I was more than happy to design it. We worked together to make this blog a dedication to her sweet boy to keep his memory strong.

I am sooooooooooo excited to release our newest blogger template, the ADVANCED Photo Blog!This has been in the works for quite some time, and I can't believe its finally here! This blog is amazing. It has so many awesome features, let me share them with you.

A New Look!

Sooo......how do you like the new look? I know its a little "fall-ish" but I am in the mood for a more vintage setting! :) (and I LOVED this picture...so appropriate, it just made me giggle!)

I wanted to walk you through the new layout, so no one is confused!

We will start at the Left Side...
you may notice there is now a "How it all works" section. This explains how my process works from purchasing a blog to going live!

Next is a NEW PORTFOLIO!! No more having to click through tons of links! All of the slide shows are in categories according to the service rendered and they will be updated on a regular basis when new projects are completed!

Now to the Right Side:
My work schedule is now listed over here, so you can see when I am booked, so you will know when your getting on the calendar! :) Also, my services have changed slightly.
I am no longer offering Logo design, as I would like to focus on my blog design and splash pages.

HELLO BLOGGING WORLD! Wow! Can I just say I have the BEST clients? I am so totally blessed! I am just floored daily by the email's I get from you guys, the comments on the blog, even the letters in the mail! Amazing!

But with all this awesome clientele comes longer lines and lots of work! So I have decided to switch totally to blogger. If you are currently already on my client list and you don't have a blogger account, thats totally ok. I am wrapping up my typepad, blogsome, and wordpress blog's and then will be switching just to blogger!

BUT, NEVER FEAR! At ESG we have perfected the blogger template for our clients. You can now choose between a regular blog template with two or three columns, or a photographer's blog template. What's the difference? Well, we now have larger photos, sidebar content at the bottom of the page, huge header's and beautiful backgrounds! So your blogger blog will be totally pimped out! LOL!!!

New Hours

You might have noticed on the sidebar that I have changed my business hours. I think that many of you know that being mom's and business owners is a really hard balance, and I am still trying to find mine. But I realize that I am spending more and more time on my computer and not enough time with my daughter!

So I have pulled back some hours and I will not be taking as many clients at one time so that I can provide you with awesome and fast service, and I can give Lagan the mommy she deserves!

New Look

So you might have noticed there are some changes around ESG!! We have a NEW LOOK! And some NEW PRODUCTS!! I am so excited about this change! I have been working on it here and there for the past few months, so I am so glad to get it up and running!

I have been getting TONS of requests for splash pages for websites. This is the front page of a website, you can view mine here: http://www.genesisphotographyweb.com/, you will see my daughter on the front, this is an example of a splash page. I don't plug these in for you, I just design them! :) But they can include, photos, graphics, etc. A very cool way to customize the front of your website!

Also, I have added a "You design it" blog option. This service is for those of you who want to design your own header and background, I just plug in the code for you!

Wow! That's a lot of cool new stuff! I can't wait to work with YOU! To get any of the new or old features, we are currently booking for JUNE! So hurry and get on the calendar, spaces will fill quickly!

Hey Everyone! I am sorry for my absence yesterday, I spent the day at the doctor then all night at the hospital becasuse I broke out with a rash of Poison Ivy all over my face! You can see here how terrible it is:

Hey Everyone....I am so sorry if I am behind on emails and work. We had a break-in scare here night before last, and so I have been staying at my sisters! Because I was scared to death to be at my home!
But now we are getting security like Ft.Knocks around here! I am going to be back to work tomorrow, but please be patient with me while I get back to all my work!

Its a sad, sad day!

Well........I have some TRAGIC news! My faithful computer has died!

It's crashed, the mother board is fried, and I literally was in tears when the computer nerd showed up and charged me $112 to tell me it was broken and he can't do anything to fix it! :(

So I am now in search of a computer that I can afford and still be able to have electricity in my home! (damn bills!) So wish me luck!

I am praying that I will be back up and running by the end of the week, so if you have placed an order with me, please know that I am working my tail off to get up and running again! I am so sorry, if I had known this was going to happen, I would have taken everything off my old computer!

So everyone have a great week, because someone needs to be happy! And I will see you all soon!

First off, I want to say thank you to all of my clients for sending their friends my way and for all of you being so wonderful!

That's what I have been hearing over the last few weeks! I have been working on getting my graphics site up and running! For a long time my clients have asked me to open a separate business for graphics instead of just doing them on the side...so here we go! :)

I will be working with all of my clients on a personal 1 on 1 basis, just like always, but this way it's easier for you to see my prices and pay! I accept payment in the form of credit card (see side bar for available options), echeck, paypal, or bank account transfers. And all of your information is protected and encrypted in paypal, so you don't have to worry!

Once you have purchased your item on the side bar, I will email you asap to get your information and we will start the process from there. If there is a service that you would like that you don't see on the side bar, just email me and we will work to make you happy!
